"A really BIG thanks and congratulations to the Uplift Events team on a wonderful 'City Challenge' event. We wanted the event to be team building Christmas function to get the team members together that had never met before, as well as an opportunity to get the staff out of the office and out of their comfort zone. Uplift Events provided us with an entertaining morning of fun, physical activities and challenging puzzles that were at a level of difficulty that got us all thinking and working together as a team. The highlight of the day was the Eureka Tower Challenge... which proved to be alot harder than it first looked!!

The City Challenge was a great team building event and the flexibility of Uplift Events meant we could tailor the challenge to ensure it was suitable for different fitness levels. The City Challenge was a fantastic team building event that encouraged teams to work together to solve a variety of challenges.
As something different for our staff Christmas party, some of the participants were sceptical at first but they rose to the challenges and the competitive air was palpable. In the end the team loved the mix of activities that encouraged teams to work together to solve a variety of physical and mental challenges. Feedback from the participants has been very positive with everyone enjoying themselves thoroughly... Feedback from the participants has been very positive from both a personal and professional level. Although I knew the exercise was always going to be a fun event where our Wardens are rewarded for their voluntary work throughout the year, I have been very surprised at the feedback in relation to how this exercise has changed their thinking if confronted with an emergency situation.

Right from the start our competitive sides came out and the race was on. All teams had a great time racing through the city and solving the tasks. Having said that, a number of people found it rather challenging to do a lot of fast walking / running, although they didn't actually need to as public transport was a good alternative (especially trams) and it may have been an illusion to think running will get us faster to the next destination.
I really liked the strict, smiley, helpful and occasionally forgiving nature of the all the staff at Uplift Events. I thought the race was.... Just right. Not too long, not too short and covered a good range of tasks something for everyone. Even as the LUCKY LAST team.... It’s a team building exercise I would happily do again. It was about the journey and experience – which was a lot of fun."

"Thank-you so much for the great day you organised for us last week. The Melbourne Amazing Race far surpassed any expectations we had about the event. We were all looking forward to it, and often when you are looking forward to something so much you are let down, but this was not the case with this race. It was so well organised, you had plenty of staff, who by the way are a credit to themselves and asset to your business, they were so friendly and supportive.
The tasks were varied and enthralling. They suited all the participants from my company down to the ground. I can't believe how much we did in 3 hours (under 3 hours for us winners!). The finishing point was well chosen and we are even considering holding our Christmas function there. The trophies and prizes are a great momento of the day. Then there was the follow up with the results sheet and a CD of photos taken by your staff on the day sent out to us.
