The Stand Up Paddle Boarding tour will take you on a journey down Melbourne’s famous Yarra River and past all the city’s historic and tourist destinations such as the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne Tennis Centre, Southbank, Federation Square, Birrarung Marr, The Arts Centre, Crown Casino, Flinders Street Station, the Aquarium, the Exhibition Centre, Polly Woodside, the Rialto, the Eureka Tower and the Yarra’s historic bridges.
Stand-up Paddle (SUP) is the fastest growing board sport and water sport in the world. The low-impact sport encourages general fitness through strength and balance exercise, all while having fun in the water. Better yet, the leisurely sport requires no existing level of skill to be able to have a great time.
With all action sports, it is important that you learn the correct technique from day one and Stand–Up Paddle Boarding is no different.
The instructors will have your team paddling effectively in a short space of time, and ensure they leave you with adequate knowledge to paddle on your own. The team building sessions are conducted in a safe and nurturing environment and in a format that all can enjoy.
Take in the city scenery by day or the night lights at dusk, all from a unique position on the water. Race the team along the Yarra River or simply enjoy a once in a life time tour. The activity can be matched to suit your team, its dynamics and your desired team building outcomes. Whether it is a team reward for outstanding performance or a strategy to deliver team results.
All equipment is provided including an instructor, board, leash, lifejacket, wetsuit, booties and a helmet.
