Uplift Events is proud to launch Prison Break, the newest edition to our events portfolio! Develop your prison alter ego and interact with each other in a fun simulated environment.

Prison Break kicks off with inmates split into teams and developing a prison gang identity together with a back story. Inmates will get into character with fake tattoos, bandanas and several props provided to set the theme for the event. Throughout a series of fun, mental and strategic challenges, teams will work together to decipher clues, bribe guards and steal a master key, following a standard “Dummy’s Guide” to break out of prison plan – think Shawshank Redemption

Result
The team from Shine Lawyers became Paparazzi’s for the day as part of an Uplift Events Paparazzi event. The teams raced around Melbourne taking group photos at various locations. In a very close finish the Blue Team raised the most money and won the day! Well done to all the teams for doing such a great job and taking so many photos!

Result
Eight very competitive teams from Grant Thornton competed in a Melbourne Amazing Race^®. Teams had their memory, puzzle solving skills, and handball skills tested. Their ability to work as a team shone through as they raced from Parliament Gardens, and visited Bourke Street Mall, Federation Square and QV on the way to the finish. In the end team ‘The Goonies’ led the majority of the race and were the winners! Congratulations to the whole Grant Thornton team for a very enjoyable Melbourne Amazing Race^®!

A fun end of year team building event.

Result
Teams from Spotters Shades took part in a Great Pursuit around the streets of Melbourne on a very hot day! They had to face their fear of heights up at Eureka Tower, showed off their bowling skills and racked their brains with some tough puzzle solving problems. In a race to the finish the Transformers narrowly beat Team Buzz to first place! A great race by all and a special mention to the awesome T-Shirts made by each team!

Result
Five teams from The Alfred Hospital circled the city as part of a Melbourne Amazing Race^®. Starting at Federation Square, teams tested their Memory at Treasury Gardens, their trust and communication at Flagstaff Gardens and their counting and attention to detail at the Immigration Museum. After Team Jammers took a train the wrong way through the City Loop, the Mad Hatters jumped in to first place and kept the lead to win the race! A great Melbourne Amazing Race by all teams!

Objectives
A fun team building event for communication, problem solving and teamwork.

Result
The staff from Bulla Dairy Foods had perfect weather for their City Challenge at Docklands. The five teams competed in a range of physical and mental challenges testing their teamwork, communication, problem solving and leadership skills. Team Red dominated the day winning 3 of the 5 challenges and were the eventual winners! Thanks to the whole Bulla Dairy Foods team for a great event!

A fun team building event for the staff from all the different centres around Melbourne.

Result
The Kinder Haven team competed in one of our biggest Melbourne Amazing Races for 2011! Fourteen teams took off from Federation Square, on a race around the city. They ate their way through a spicy challenge at Southbank, sang their way through a Karaoke challenge, got puzzled at QV, and completed many more activities all over the city. In the end the Fluoro Yellow Management Team were the quickest and were the first team at the finish line! Well done to all teams for completing such a big Melbourne Amazing Race^®!

Objectives
A fun team building event for the Melbourne Central staff as part of an end of year function.

Result
Ten excited teams descended on to the streets of Melbourne for an Uplift Events organised Paparazzi event. All teams showed considerable skill in tracking down the required photos for their Paparazzi team building event. Not only did they find some tricky hidden features within the city but a couple of teams even completed the celebrity photo by getting a photo with comedian Shaun Micallef. A great team day was had by all with all participants getting to know each other better in a fun team environment.

Objectives
An event as part of their city camp to allow their year 10 students to discover Melbourne while having fun.

Result
Coming back for the 4th year, the students from Maranatha Christian School showed great endeavour and creativity in completing the photo challenges presented to them. Dashing all over the city, photos were taken in many iconic locations within the city including the Bourke Street Mall, Captain Cooks Cottage and Birrarung Marr. In the end, it was a close contest between Teams Red and Green with Team Green edging out Team Red by a couple of photos.

Result
The REA Group started bright and early for a competitive Paparazzi event on a beautiful Spring day. Both teams completed a lot of the photos through being observant and planning their route throughout the city carefully. Wacky photos with the police, tax drivers and concierges were just some of the headlines that teams had to find photos for. Winning by a mere $50 was Team Red who took out the title of the Chief Paparazzi for the day.

An event to integrate the new staff at the new Melbourne Central Levis store.

Result
Two young and enthusiastic teams greeted the fun team building Paparazzi event with loads of enthusiasm. Both teams got out of their comfort zones as they snapped up photos that were tailored to the Levi Strauss brand. With a blindfold challenge thrown in as well, both teams demonstrated that team spirit and communication was alive and well within their group. After two hours of tracking down celebrities and key iconic locations around Melbourne, Team ‘Denim Demons’ won the event with the most value for all their photos.

There is no better way to start the morning than with an Uplift Events Melbourne Amazing Race^®. Teams gathered at Federation Square and were released out into the CBD to test their team work and problem solving abilities through various challenges. With many of the participants dressed to race, this was one of the fastest and most competitive races hosted by Uplift Events. No challenge or task was too hard for the teams from AIA Australia as they dashed, solved, shopped and laughed their way all over Melbourne. After surrendering the lead at the 1st pitstop, Team Blue regained their composure and won the AIA Australia Melbourne Amazing Race^® in near record time..

Objectives
Team Building as part of General Staff Professional Development Day for staff from Burwood and Geelong campuses.

Result
After sitting through a morning conference, the staff from Deakin University were glad to get their legs moving for 3 hours as they discovered Melbourne in the Great Pursuit. With team building challenges at locations including the Eureka Tower Skydeck, Queen Victoria Market and Treasury Gardens, all teams showed tremendous planning and communication in completing the challenges in the quickest possible time. Showing the best team work was Team Light Blue who completed all the stages in the quickest time to be declared the winners of the Great Pursuit.

Objectives
A fun team building event at their conference venue for the evening and the next morning.

Result
The team from Telstra enjoyed a fun Horse Racing event at Sanctuary House in Healesville with a live race caller getting all the ‘punters’ excited for each horse race. In the morning, a City Survivor event was held outside. Teams’ bearings were put to the test with a blindfold challenge followed by Survivor style quiz that led to a large Cube puzzle. Competition was hotting up as teams entered the last few team building challenges where the winner was decided by which team had the correct key to open up the Treasure Chest. With the benefit of having 3 possible correct keys, team ‘Surrender Monkeys’ won the City Survivor event and the bragging rights.

Objectives
CPA Australia contacted Uplift Events for a fun team building event.

Result
A City Survivor event was recommended to CPA Australia for their team building event. Starting with a tribal chant and designing their tribe flag, the teams from CPA Australia were then ready to outwit, outplay and outlast their fellow colleagues. Teams were confronted with a teamwork and strategy problem in the form of a memory challenge. In true Survivor form, there was a series of eating challenges that progressively got harder and more disgusting after each round. Teams were then faced with many of the puzzle and strategy type challenges seen in Survivor. After the last tribal council, team ‘Te Taritake’ amassed enough gold coins to win City Survivor despite not having the correct key for the final treasure chest
